What you’ll need

• A supported 64‑bit Linux system (Ubuntu 18.04+ or Ubuntu‑based Mint). See Supported operating systems & GPUs (Creator Pro) for details.
• Enough free disk space for installation and saving outputs.

Get the Linux build for Creator Pro from the official Downloads page on the Deep Art website.

Install (step by step)

Depending on the package format provided, follow the matching path below.

A) AppImage

1. Save the file (e.g., CreatorPro-x.y.z.AppImage).
2. Right‑click → Properties → Permissions → check Allow executing file as program.
3. Double‑click the AppImage to launch.

B) Archive with launcher (.tar.gz / .zip)

1. Extract the archive to a folder in your home directory (e.g., ~/CreatorPro).

2. Open Terminal, then:

   cd ~/CreatorPro
   ./CreatorPro   # or: bash ./start.sh (use the included launcher)
   

The exact file and launcher names may vary by version; use the launcher included in the download.

First launch & license

1. Start Creator Pro (AppImage or included launcher).
2. If prompted, enter your Product Key to activate (you can also activate later via Help → Activate License).
3. After activation, restart the app once.

Distro notes (Ubuntu / Linux Mint)

• Ubuntu 18.04 / 20.04 / 22.04 / 24.04: Steps are identical; ensure current system updates are installed.
• Linux Mint (Ubuntu‑based editions): Follow the same steps as Ubuntu. The archive may be auto‑extracted by the file manager.

Troubleshooting

• App won’t start: Launch from Terminal to see messages; ensure executable permission is set and that the included launcher is used.
• Slow or unstable: Close background apps and try a different compositor/session if the desktop environment is heavy.
