Symptoms
- The model download progress appears stuck (e.g., stalls part‑way and doesn’t complete).
- After waiting several minutes, the dialog shows an error and no new files are available.
- Re‑trying the download produces the same behavior.
Likely causes
- Unstable network connection, VPN/proxy interception, or temporary server/network hiccup during transfer.
- Corrupted or partial files inside the local model cache.
- Security software (antivirus) temporarily blocking archive extraction.
Step‑by‑step fix
- Quit the app. Close Creator Pro completely.
- Check your connection. If possible, switch to a stable Wi‑Fi or wired connection; temporarily disable VPN/proxy.
- Pause antivirus briefly. Turn off real‑time scanning only during the download (if permitted by your policy).
- Clear the local cache (see Clean cache (paths) below).
- Restart the app and trigger the model download again.
Clean cache (paths)
Delete the contents of the cache folder (do not delete the folder itself):
-
Windows:
%APPDATA%\DeepArtCreatorPro\modelCache -
macOS / Linux:
~/.deepartcreatorpro/modelCache
After clearing the cache, start Creator Pro and retry the download.
Note: Folder names may differ if you chose a custom data location. Use your OS search for
modelCacheif needed.
FAQ
-
The progress stays at 0%.
Check firewall rules; downloads use standard HTTPS (TCP 443). If you use a corporate SSL‑inspection proxy, try a different network. -
Can I keep existing models?
If downloads fail repeatedly, remove partial files frommodelCachefirst, then retry. Keeping corrupted fragments can cause repeated failures.
