Symptoms
- App closes unexpectedly (crash) during style rendering.
- Process is very slow or appears stuck.
- Saving to the photo library/gallery fails or the image doesn’t appear.
Quick checks (applies to iOS & Android)
- Free storage: Keep several hundred MB free for processing and saving.
- Close background apps: Free up RAM before heavy renders.
- Restart the device: Clears temporary states and improves stability.
- Update the app/OS: Install the latest app version and current OS updates.
iOS/iPadOS — fixes
- Photos permission: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → Deep Art Effects → set to All Photos (or Add Photos Only for import).
- Camera permission (optional): iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera → allow.
- Reinstall (last resort): Delete the app, reboot, then reinstall from the App Store. Use Restore Purchases afterward if needed.
Android — fixes
- Storage/Photos permission: Android Settings → Apps → Deep Art Effects → Permissions → allow Storage/Photos & videos.
- Battery optimization: Settings → Battery → exclude the app from aggressive optimization so long renders aren’t killed.
- Clear cache (not data): Settings → Apps → Deep Art Effects → Storage & cache → Clear cache; then try again.
Save issues (photos not saved)
- Check permissions first (see iOS/Android steps above).
- Change destination (Android): Some gallery apps delay indexing—check your Files app/Downloads folder.
- Try a smaller export: Reduce resolution to verify that saving works at lower sizes.
Performance tips (mobile)
- Use smaller input images or crop before applying very heavy styles.
- Keep the device plugged in and screen awake during long renders.
- Avoid switching apps while rendering; backgrounding may pause or terminate the process on some devices.
When to contact support
If crashes persist, contact support@deeparteffects.com with: device model, OS version, app version, and a brief description (what style, approximate image size).
