What makes a good prompt?
A clear prompt tells Creator Pro what to depict and how it should feel (style, mood, level of detail). Start specific, then refine.
Prompt structure (template)
Use this simple template and adjust terms as needed:
[Subject], [style / art movement / medium], [details / key attributes], [lighting / mood], [color palette]
Examples
- “Ancient pine forest at dawn, watercolor style, mist between trees, soft rim light, pastel greens and warm orange accents.”
- “Futuristic city street, isometric illustration, clean lines, small figures, morning haze, cool blue/teal palette.”
Tips:
- Prefer concrete nouns and adjectives over vague terms (e.g., “copper, enamel, hammered texture” vs. “nice metal”).
- Avoid contradictions (e.g., “no people, crowded market”).
- Keep the most important words near the start of the prompt.
Style and detail suggestions
- Art movements: impressionist, cubist, ukiyo‑e, brutalist, bauhaus, art deco.
- Mediums: oil painting, watercolor, pencil sketch, ink, woodcut, ceramic glaze, neon sign.
- Rendering cues: high‑detail, minimal, flat color, stippled, cross‑hatching.
- Lighting/mood: golden hour, overcast, studio softbox, high key, low key, moody.
- Color: monochrome, duotone, complementary colors, muted pastels, high saturation.
Combine one movement + one medium + a few detail cues rather than long, unfocused strings.
Iteration: refine and compare
- Generate with your initial prompt.
- Create small edits: add/remove one descriptor at a time (e.g., change “watercolor” → “gouache”).
- Compare variants and keep the wording that moves results in the right direction.
- Save promising outcomes and branch further from those prompts.
Aspect ratio and size basics
- Choose a target size and aspect ratio that fits the intended use (e.g., square for avatars, wide for headers).
- For very large outputs, generate at a comfortable size first and then use upscaling as needed.
FAQ
-
Do longer prompts always improve results?
Not necessarily. Focus on the few words that truly define subject, style, and mood. -
My prompt is ignored. What now?
Remove conflicting words and test again; change only one variable per iteration to see the effect clearly.
